Setting up the Fokus Desk is a breeze. The table top can be easily pulled up and secured with a C-catch on both sides. The support leg swings out for stability, distributing the weight of the table top through rotational pivot points and the support leg. Packing up is just as simple, with the table top dropping down and the support legs folding in automatically.

The Fokus Desk project started in August 2014 and was completed in February 2015 in Singapore. It was exhibited at the URA Gallery in Singapore in March 2015, showcasing its innovative design and functionality. The design process involved extensive research, including visits to home offices and collaborative spaces, surveys, and environmental verification through photographs.

The Fokus Desk has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2015. This prestigious award acknowledges the desk's creative and ingenious design, incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology.
